Last year in
Phuket, l'Olympique de Saigon entered the Guinness Book of Records by cruising the island
with 15 people in one car. Football-wise though, well, we disappointed our fans who
expected more from the strongest French team in Asia! (just in case you were away last
year, may we remind you that France is the reigning Football World Champion.)
Back in town, however, we left a whole lot of unforgettable memories. We must say that we
are adored by around 50% of the local population everywhere we go in the whole world of
Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. And we adore them back, even more so those with large
breast!
The Olympique de Saigon represents one of the football icons of France, the heroic team of
Nice, twined city of Phuket. Most of our players are from the south of France, and you may
notice it when hearing us scream on the pitch. But we are open to other cultures, and we
even have players from Paris, Alsace and the Picardie. That explains some
miscommunication, which you may find too loud to bear. This year will see the come back of
M'Denis Milla from Cameroun, one of our founders, who was sent there to learn the magic of
football, and also Phil the Veal, our President, still spending his punishment time in
London.
We wish you all a great tournament, drink as much as you can. |
