RULES OF THE TOURNAMENT

1. The matches will be played on a standard football field and there shall be eleven players on each team. Each team is allowed to register a maximum of 15 players for the tournament.
2. Duration of matches :

The Group matches on Saturday will consist of two halves of 10 minutes with a two minutes break.

The Cup matches (two semis-finals, the Final and the match for the third place) on Sunday, will consist of two halves of 20 minutes with a two minutes break. If the result is a draw, the "Golden Goal" rule will apply.

The Plate matches (classification) on Sunday, will consist of two halves of 15 minutes with a two minutes break.

3. Group matches and Plate matches: In the Groups and Plate matches, a victory merits 3 points, a draw will merit 1 point and a loss will mean no points. Any team scoring 3 goals in one match will get an extra point. Upon completion of the Group and Plate matches, if two teams have the same number of points, ranking will be decided in the following way of order :

   1. goal difference
   2. number of goal scored
   3. the team which won the "particular" game
   4. number of victories during the tournament
   5. toss of a coin

4. Play off draw: The teams which finish first and second in each group shall advance in the semi finals (The Cup) .The teams which finish third, fourth and fifth shall advance to the Plate classification matches.
5. Substitutions: during Group matches and Plate matches, these are unlimited, but players must come and go off the field at the halfway line. For the semi-finals, Final, and third place game, a maximum of 4 substitutions are allowed. Previously substituted players are allowed to return to the field only during Group and Plate matches.
6. Free-kicks will be awarded for time wasting and this will be strictly enforced.
7. The corner kick will not be used during the tournament. It will be replaced by a "direct free - kick from the corner of the penalty box on the side of the field where the ball left play.
8. If a team is late more than 3 minutes, it will forfeit the match and a 2: 0 win will be awarded to the opponents.
9. If a player receives 1 yellow card, he will be suspended for the following game. Any player receiving a red card shall also subject to a two game suspension. A fair play trophy will be awarded to the team deemed most worthy of its title.
10. The offside rule will be waived during the tournament (Please note : NO OFFSIDE)
11. If there is a dispute no adequately covered by the rules, the decision of the Organizing Committee shall be final, and based on the spirit of Fair Play.
12. Under Dulwich College internal Rules :

1. No topless bathing in the swimming pool (women concerned only-males may swim without bra)
2. Decent language should be observed within the DIC premises
